Tidied the house, sorted out the bins and the cats and then packed and got the bus to the station. Had to walk across Newark to change to the east coast main line, past Newark castle. Journey was very straightforward but train was very busy so pleased to have got a seat frog upgrade. Walked up to Ds (no rain!) and had dinner in with A who was staying the night before going to the airport in the morning.
