My Uncle is 90 today.

The Feast Day of Saint Isidore of Seville.
Paul has driven to Blackpool for his pre operation consultation.
I have stayed home because there is always plenty to do and Paul is kind enough to realise I am not good at sitting about waiting.
I went out to buy the newspaper and then visited the canal. Both swans were guarding their nest so I took two photos, careful not to get too close. Then I walked home getting rained on in the heavy drizzle.
Hunter and Holly were waiting for me.
I have done a tribute for my Uncle Cedric who celebrates being 90 today. He is my Mother's youngest brother and lives in Surrey. He is kind and family minded and has travelled to some wonderful countries, including Alaska, a few years ago.
It rained heavily and noisily in the evening.
Paul returned after his consultation. They did a blood test, blood pressure and explained what the operation will be like. They gave him sheets of information to read at home.
