C had discovered Muiravonside Country Park near Linlithgow so we headed east to explore. Well worth a visit, including the farm with llamas alpacas, highland cattle and various rare sheep breeds. Our kids would have loved it when they were younger.  The walks included a history trail taking in the Aquaduct (longest and highest in Scotland); and an art trail (teasle sculpture in extras).

I’m not sure what this is, but loved the rust and old patina.

We also had a nice coffee beside the Union Canal at the Bridge 49 Cafe. Would recommend.
