A First

A bit of a hectic day, preparing for our trip to Glasgow tomorrow. As usual, balance was restored by a wander in the woods with Bertie. This was where I came across my first wood anemones of the season. I love the way the wild spring flowers appear in sequence. First the primroses, now the wood anemones along with the celandines, and shortly there will be violets and wood sorrel. No doubt there will be blips of the latter two in due course.
