The Light

With a couple of hours spare this afternoon, I drove the thirty minutes from home to Lydney Harbour, Gloucestershire (UK) with excellent views of the Severn Estuary. The tide was out, it was very windy, and gulls were making the most of the air currents.

Looking towards the old Severn Bridge, the light was lovely off the sandbanks and it wasn't long before I got some gulls in the composition. I did a quick shop in the town before heading home.

We're off out to our local pub with neighbours and friends tonight. It's becoming a regular thing to welcome in the weekend - Enjoy yours!
