Half Moon

Late morning I spent a few hours on the gardens and was just about to sit down when a neighbour wanted a hand with clearing a couple of felled trees.

I'd just finished when the oldest son arrived for the 3pm kick-off for QPR v Cardiff City FC. It was a frustrating match for Cardiff and ended 0-0 when we really needed a win.

With the sun out, Mrs BB and I sat outside and I spotted the 'pancake' day-time moon which is just under 50% illuminated. As there's no cloud and a vivid blue sky there's some lovely detail.

Not much to celebrate but Mrs BB and I will pop out for a couple of hours for a bite to eat.
