The lull before Storm Kathleen arrives

I cannot remember a named storm this late in the season. But there again, it has not been a normal season! We were in town this morning for a number of reasons. The trip was very successful and I enjoyed being out of the house.

One thing on our shopping list was a new toaster to replace the one that “blew up” and tripped the power following one hot cross bun too many!!
