Tulip Bouquet - no vase needed

We had a busy day. Our weather varied between sunny and overcast. Started the day by baking cranberry orange nut bread for home and WV. Next job was repairing a few pieces of clothing. Changed the linens and did a load of laundry. Put together our WV menu spreadsheet and made copies for my sister and me. Hubby went to get a hair cut and stopped at the bank. They are closing the branch closest to us. I went out and took photos of my flowers for welcome to spring FB post. Decided this one would be my blip. It was nice outside so I planted 12 lettuce plants and 18 onion sets. Fertilized, watered and put down pine straw to hold in the moisture. Hubby cut the grass with the push mower and riding tractor. It was time for a very late lunch; we finished more leftovers. Now it’s nap time before we head to Parker’s lacrosse game. We just got word that a traffic accident has closed the road along our route to his game. Guess we’ll have to modify our plans and leave earlier. Hope you are ready for the weekend; we are looking forward to watching Brooklyn play soccer on Sunday. Stay safe. Thanks for your visit. “Like tulip-beds of different shape and dyes, bending beneath the invisible west-wind’s sighs.” — Thomas Moore
