Canal Walk: Day 5

13-miles completed today ... from Linlithgow to Ratho ... and both the route, and the weather, has been really rather fine!

The photo shows 'R' striding along the Union Canal towpath as we entered Ratho - our destination for this evening; and our last stop of the expedition, before undertaking the 8-miles in towards Lochrin Basin tomorrow :-)

Stops today included; near Philpstoun for a quick drink & snack, then on the edge of Broxburn for our packed-lunch, then a last coffee & cake stop at the Edinburgh International Climbing Arena!

An evening meal still beckons, then we'll rest up so we have a spring-in-our-step for the last day of walking :-))
