Canal Walk: Day 4
We've arrived in Linlithgow - a slightly shorter day, of just 9-miles, and we were very glad to get to our accommodation for the evening, as the weather has been pretty wet ... see today's photo!
The picture actually shows me at "Bridge No.60", on the Union Canal, just along from Glen Village ... thought it appropriate to mark this spot, as we are both now 60, and obviously walking circa 60-miles from Coast to Coast :-)
An earlier stop today saw us luckily find a wonderful coffee & cake shop - called 'Aran' - just off the canal in Polmont. Their cake was marvellous!
Drying out now, before an evening meal later - thankfully the forecast looks much less wet tomorrow (if not a little windy!), which is good, as we have around 13-miles to cover to get to Ratho for our final evening stopover.
Finally; just the usual brief reminder that we are primarily undertaking the expedition to raise money for EUCS - and there are still 2-days of walking left! - so, if you want to/can help, our JustGiving page is here:

Thank you :-)
