Saxon re-enactors

I've attempted various kinds of pictues today, most of them abject failures.  Luckily I bumped in to a group re-enacters outside the City Museum, so instead of birds, wildflowers or 21st century folk you have here a rather charming Saxon warrior looking much too chilled to draw blood!  I have no idea exactly why they were in Winchester - limbering up for a summer of re-enacting, I guess.
