Saturday Night

A back Blip from a week ago, taking its title from a long ago Fascinating Aida song (niche reference, with the the lyrics not really having relation to the photo, but anyway!)

A friend pointed out that the composition is very similar to Edward Hopper's 'Nighthawks', which was not intentional. I am very pleased with it, though.

Took a few on Saturday, still using my new 50mm. Here are just a couple. Of course for the sailing boats at Emsworth, I wished I'd brought my zoom for some close-up people shots! But was just able to get the necessary depth of field for the cliched beach hut shot on Hayling Island.
