(Not very) straight outta Dymchurch

Blipping this late 'cos we are playing catch up.

After eating our very agreeable instant porridge watching the rain outside slowly clear, we set off westwards outta Dymchurch into the beginnings of a lovely day in the saddle.

First stop was in Hastings where Ms.Arell look us up a steep & narrow street winding it's way uphill to snap a picture of the residence of Mr Foyle from the TV series, Foyles War. It looked very grand, as did the surrounding buildings and Fidra coped admirably around tight corners more suited to Biscuit.

A little further on came a divert back to the coast along Brighton seafront before returning inland to find a brilliant biker themed cafe on the A259 near Bexhill. After a healthy lunch we continued to Portsmouth, heading straight to Southsea Hoverport for a short but amazing ride as foot passengers to Ryde on the Isle Of Wight (see extra)

Our original plan was to have a bite to eat there but as nothing took our fancy we just played at being nosy tourists before hopping back across the water for peanut butter on fresh rolls at our hotel for the next two nights.
