Blue Mint Beetle

Second escape to the canal side today in storm Kathleen. Trying to do extreme macro in gale force winds is hard work for me and the poor bugs. Bee's and hoverflies were having a terrible time trying to cling on to leaves.
Got a few bugs, but getting blown off my feet near a canal was not a pleasant thought. It was wonderful to be out with the camera and my bug friends.
A real tonic.
