Starfish

We’re based on Isla Colon, the main island of the Bocas del Toro archipelago.  Bocas Town is a tiny one horse place that you can walk end to end in about ten minutes!  

There are nine islands in the group.  We took a water taxi across to Isla Carenero and whiled away a couple of hours over lunch at the Leaf Eaters Cafe.  

After lunch we had a gentle walk around Isla  Carenero - it’s as idyllic as you’d expect the Caribbean to be - golden sands, swaying palm trees and clear blue seas!  Waiting on a water taxi back to Bocas Town we noticed starfish on the seabed just off the cafe pier.
