Rise and Shine!

And the sun is doing just that this morning.  It will a perfect, nearly 60- degree day to witness the total solar eclipse of the sun this afternoon.  I don't think Louisa May is as excited as I am though. (This is her meatball position, but she does an equally good meat loaf.)  I will be with some friends and although we don't have the proper glasses, I did make a pinhole camera so we can safely see the eclipse.  I hope I can photograph our efforts to show you tomorrow.  The other exciting news is power was restored late in the day yesterday!  Hooray!  It will be a red- letter day all around, I think.
