The River Quoich

After a weekend of events in Aberdeen, we escaped to Deeside for a day, staying in an excellent B&B in Aboyne on Sunday night. Today we stopped in Ballater and Braemar, then drove past Mar Lodge to the Linn of Dee and along the north side of the River to the foot of Glen Quoich. Not far up the River Quoich from its confluence with the Dee is the Punch Bowl, and this shot is just below that.
