Redshanks

There were 40 plus redshanks on the beach of barrier # 4. That's a lot for there. Masses of turnstones, purple sandpiper, ringed plover etc. Long-tailed ducks, mallard and eider on the sea and a pair of shelduck. It would be nice if the shelduck nested in the dunes as I don't think I have recorded them doing so before. A wheatear, but far away.
