Watendlath Beck

Spring at last - walked up to Watendlath from Surprise View and partway up the Rosthwaite path before returning down the road. Photos, however, can be misleading; despite the blue sky and sunshine, the ground was sodden and boggy after the recent rains, and by the time we reached Watendlath it had clouded over. As we walked back along the road it started raining, and was pretty heavy again by the time we got home. 

No chance of seeing the partial eclipse this evening, as it was 100% overcast. Hard to believe it's almost 7 years since I did the USA eclipse workshop.
