To Bloom (or not)

Yet more high winds and rain this morning, I decided to give work a few hours while the weather was inclement.

By the evening things had quietened down some and the sun made a late appearance.  As seems the norm these days the camera hadn't been picked up but I grabbed a quick shot now more of the tulips in the front garden have come into flower.  I liked being able to include the still to bloom flower head in the background.

We watched with interest before lunch the testimony of Mr bates to the Post Office Inquiry on BBC News.  One can only wonder at his emotions getting this chance to put his side of things to a public audience.  He didn't hold back.  It will be fascinating to see the testimony of people from the Post Office and Fujitsu in the coming weeks.
