Tulip
The day was travelling down to Sheffield to visit Rachel and family. We had one or two things to do in town first then we headed for the A66. Weleft town directly on to one of the A66 roundabouts, joined the A66 and ground to a halt. Both lanes were nose to tail standing traffic. We shuffled along for 40 minutes and arrived at temporary traffic lights. Work has started on dualling the rest of the A66. God alone knows what the next few years will be like.
After we got past the lights the rest of the journey was comparatively easy. We had a break at our favourite stopping lace Mainsgill Farm. We arrived with Rachel mid to late afternoon. One of the first things I spotted as we turned into their drive were the Tulips.
