A Day At The Seaside

Today we took our granddaughter to Bridlington. It was quite a bright day but there was a stiff cool breeze blowing off the sea!

Got parked up on the sea front and walked along the beach from the coastguard station to Sewerby and then climbed the steps up the cliff….gosh that made the legs burn a bit!

A quick coffee stop at the hut at the top of the steps and then we walked into town along the cliff top where I shot this view.

We sat near the harbour for our lunch where we were joined by some massive gulls…one of them was very determined…see extra.

We did spend a while in a couple of amusement arcades…where we fed a few pounds worth of 2p pieces into the machines..at least it was out of the wind.

Walked back from town to where we had started. Rain started as we got back in the car….perfect timing.

5.5 miles walked and I clocked 15k steps. We should all sleep well tonight.
