The green boat

Took a trip out to Newburgh and realised I’d been before. Bit of a dreich day but I was expecting something prettier and artier (is that a word). Popped round the shops and into the Buttercup Cafe as recommended but due to the no cheese scone situation it only gets a score of 5/10. Then did a circle via Falkland which was busy but useful for a late birthday present. Tonight is Andrew O’Hagan reading his new book Caledonian Road at Topping in St Andrews…hopefully it’ll be as good as Mayflies.
