Today is mercifully mild, dry and sunny, so far. I checked the temperature on Google and it said 15c. This is warmer than in a long while.
Paul has kindly replaced the polycarbonate panels, in the roof of the greenhouse and he bought a few tubes of sealant to secure them in place.
The weather has given others more testing and serious challenges, so we are grateful nothing more terrible happened as a result of what seemed gusty winds at that time yesterday.
I bought our newspaper, did some washing and fed the cats and garden wild birds.
I vacuumed the downstairs rooms.
I went to collect and read at home a Parish Church newsletter.
I was happy to see Father Edward, the vicar, and two church supporters, chatting at the back of the church. The Church still needs ongoing money for ongoing maintenance. It is a lovely building.
I was thankful to find blossoms to photograph in the context of our neighbourhood, on my way home to have lunch and then listen to Holy Mass from Ireland.
