Today my dear Father would have been 104 years old.
I admired and loved him. He was a train driver, passenger guard and then worked in a railway office in his later years. Dad was a good gardener. He was inspiring and courageous and had a great sense of humour.
Today it is not raining so far, but the grey clouds are low.
Paul has driven to the garden centre to top up on bird seed and mealworms. It is a busy active time for the birds and there are many new born birds needing extra food.
I noticed a pair of gold finches on my walk this morning. It is a pleasant 15c.
Paul has started the de colonisation process again, mouth wash, nasal spray and bedding change, to keep it extra clean, to prepare for his operation on Tuesday 16th April.
