Leveluppers

For reasons that defy anything resembling logic, much like the government behind it, Malvern has been promised £20million for "Levelling Up". For the same type of reasons that £20M has to be spent on the theatre complex.

Now that's not a Bad Thing but I can't help suspect that the failing hospitals, reducing fire service, etc. in the area might be more qualified recipients of government funds.

Anyway, we went along to a presentation of the current plans, and really, given we have to accept this has to be where the money is to be spent, the proposal looks rather good.

Naturally, more than half the questions banged on about parking, which is a clear problem, but didn't need repeating 25 times.
