Buckden Towers

Today I took Chris to see her cousin Claire and her husband Gerry. Both have health issues and it was a good opportunity to drive over. Sunshine all the way and actually for the whole day. We went a walk with Claire to Buckden towers where Claire volunteers. We didn't even wear a coat!!! It is a lovely place and we had a lovely walk round the grounds before going in the chapels. This is the Katherine of Arragon window, the light was beautiful. you can read the history here. She did spend time at the towers after Henry viii got rid of her! A lovely walk round the Knot garden finished off a lovely walk. As we drove home the temperature gauge said the outside temperature was 20 degrees. Just wish the sun and warmth would last.
