The bench is back

Today Chris and I walked up to what we call the piggies for our picnic by the Canal. I drove to the locks as the walk is 4 miles and the walk back home is too much. During covid the  bench at this bridge  broke and it has only just been replaced . We did have a nice sit on it. Oscar always likes to climb on seats and benches and he sniffs underneath for any food!
We walked up to the piggies and sat eating our picnic with a bitter cold wind buffeting us. We walked back to the locks and up to top lock. By this ttime it was nice and warm and sheltered  so we had an ice cream.
