Made it!

OK, so I’ve had a virus this last week. Managed to keep it out of my head and chest but I’ve felt weak and tired and watched a lot of daytime TV - that’s a never for me normally! Wasn’t the best run up to a cycling holiday! I’d resigned myself to a week of rest by the pool, quashing the spark of hope that kept firing up. 

Yet here I am. Even slower than normal, pedalling a lovely 30 miler west up the Llemena Valley and back into Girona. Rich seems content to have the luxury of his heart barely leaving Zone 1 and I’m exceptionally content with the achievement. I wouldn’t have done this even yesterday!
