St James Church, Selham
Selham is a small village just outside Midhurst. The parish church of St James is intriguingly built with both Saxon and Norman features, though not mentioned in the Domesday book. Makes it ancient in my book!
What attracts me is the way the stone is laid on the front face of the church, almost herringbone style and a lovely golden colour.
More clearly seen in Large.
