It's Flower Friday!

It's Flower Friday and the sun is shining - yay! It's even warm in the direct sun, although windy rather than merely breezy.  Along with this shot of the Pasqueflower, I took shots of most flowers that had come into bloom: see Extras for a collage.
I must report that I went out into the garden and up the steep steps with NO STICK today - a first for far too long.  I even managed to sort out the pelargoniums which stand on a windowsill outside our kitchen.  I didn't do any actual gardening though.  Mr MC did some edging, weeding and digging and remarked that very soon we will need the services of a gardener to do the heavy work.  I agree wholeheartedly!
