The visitor

Today has been unseasonably warm and so, when we went into the garden, Mr MC and I left the back door open.  This gave 'Fred'(aka Peanut who has a perfectly good home in the next street to ours) the perfect opportunity to come into our house and meow very loudly for a second bowl of Dreamies. The Dreamies are not inexpensive and Mr MC pointed out that we were paying rather a lot to keep a visitor cat happy!

In other news: we managed to plant two roses today, in the left hand bed where have had the rowan tree replaced:  'Claire Austin', a creamy climber and 'The Lark Ascending', a yellow shrub rose.  This evening we watched several programmes about Simon and Garfunkel and waxed lyrical about the days of our youth!
