Mummy hazelh and the Kelpies
We took Mummy hazelh to see the Kelpies this morning. Here is the proof. We had hoped to stop for lunch at Hopetoun garden centre on our return journey, but the café was packed. Instead we came home for scrambled eggs on toast at the kitchen table.
My gardening plans this afternoon were also thwarted, this time by the weather. It hasn't rained consistently, but there is a chilly wind. I did manage to refill the bird feeders during a sunny phase - and that was long enough outside for me.
We're looking forward to a video call with our Canadian cousins Nick and Donna this evening. The four of us have been thinking a lot about one another over the past week due to the press coverage of the eclipse on Wednesday. It was with Nick and Donna that we observed the last one visible in the US, in Tennessee in August 2017.
Exercise today: small amount of walking (6,233 steps).
