The Pin Oak
A day of gentle gardening, whilst JJ has started cleaning the roof of the conservatory, which is a long job. My thumbs and wrists are giving me ever increasing problems and impacting on everyday tasks, like turning the dials on the oven. I'm also having to improvise how I weed the borders, but I won't give in.
I love the fuzziness of the new growth, particularly this tree which is behind the house two gardens away, and which is why I can't photograph the whole specimen.
It's been a pleasant day with a lovely blue sky for most of it and we did sit out with a drink just before lunch.
