Friar's Crag
It sometimes seems that there are more Scots Pine trees in Cumbria that there are in Scotland. This group have been photographed for donkeys years, mainly from the shore. They stand at Friar's Crag at the end of a lakeside walk from Keswick town centre. Virtually everybody who visits the town must walk this path. There are many views from here that I could have taken but the roots of these two trees are fascinating, especially in black & white.
