Clun
Another full day working in the garden. Half of the kitchen garden is now under control so I've made a start on the flower garden. So much creeping buttercup to remove! Took the spaniel for a late afternoon walk around Clun and its unusual Marches castle. Founded in the 11th century the castle has two mottes and the keep is built on the side rather than on top. The castle fell into disrepair when Owain Glyn Dwr's followers brought ruin to the area in the early 15th century.
