Off Offa's Dyke

A long (20km plus 700m of ascent) and rather windy walk today. Setting out from Kington in north Herefordshire we followed the Offa's Dyke path on to Bradnor Hill (allegedly the highest golf course in England) then over to Rushock Hill and Herrock Hill. My blip today is the view from the lower slopes of Herrock Hill looking down the valley towards Hanter Hill and Stanner Rocks in Powys. Our walk was lengthened by a detour to a farm to report a ewe stuck in a metal gate. I had tried unsuccessfully to pull her out. More sheep wrangling later when I came across another ewe stuck on its back and unable to right herself.  Still no rain.
