Appleblossom White

It was all about the appleblossom for me today. Mish and I sat under the tree by Ollie and Frankie dogs' graves and watched as insects visited the beautiful blooms. I've pictured two solitary bees. The top is possibly one of the Andrenas and below it is a Nomada. I captured lots of other bees and flies, including a beefly. This song, which MrQ used to play, was running through my head. I shot a great tit and a female blackbird through the blossom and have added the images to extras as I like the dreamy quality.

I've included a pic of my first damselfly of the year in my main image, the large reds are the earliest to emerge in the UK.
