Getting ready to race

A week today, the fleet of 18 rowing boats will set off from the start line. Each with 4 oars and 1 coxswain they will head out the loch for 3 miles until they reach Rhue Lighthouse where they will turn to starboard and make for the narrows. As the pass through the narrows they cross the finish line.

The best view will be from the lighthouse.
