Poznan with parkrun friends

A good flight with window seat for our first parkrun abroad. Feeling excited already.

First impressions of Poznan are very good. The taxi journey to the hotel took us as far as possible until caught in city rush hour. We decided to walk the last 1k. Zebra crossings take some getting used to, as the cars are very obliging. We soon settled in and met our friends for food in the hotel before exploring the square for evening drinks. A great atmosphere with outside eating and drinking in a civilised, social way. Beautiful, unique architecture, which I am looking forward to exploring. Plus a great group of friends. It all bodes well for a lovely holiday break away.
