La belle France, enfin! - Jour 5

Du pain, du vin, du Boursin! - Do you remember the advert?!

A big change in the weather: windy, cloudy with the odd glimpse of sunshine, and only 17 degrees.

And a big change of plans. We were both feeling very weary after a busy few days so I suggested to MH that we stayed local, and that’s what we did. Rested up this morning, then after lunch headed to the giant supermarket where we spent two hours wandering up and down the aisles, picking up all sorts of exotic things. I had to keep reminding myself that I was travelling home by plane and not in a car with unlimited luggage space; so much I would’ve liked to have bought. On the way home, stopped off at a neighbouring village for bread and pâtisserie, then settled down this evening to watch the Marcel Pagnol film, La Gloire de Mon Père.
