Due to the recent rain and cool temps, the ban on fireworks here for the Fourth of July has been temporarily lifted ( if these conditions hold).
And that certainly lifts my spirits, too. First, I am relieved to think that our fire hazard has dropped enough to shoot fire into the sky. And second, I love the childlike feeling I get watching fireworks!
