summer snow

Despite summer temps and blue skies, we still get what looks like snow around here.
These cottonwood seeds blow around like snow flakes, pile up in drifts, and need to be swept up and disposed of if they land around the house.
But the seeds do not cause a city to shut down or people to get out and play. Or cause power outages or other destruction.
They are just a thing of beauty to look at floating through the air and a reminder to take a moment to be still.
