Gone fishing

I think this heron has already helped himself to some of the frogspawn in the pond. A surprise today was the discovery of a fox in the garden( see extra ). Well, we presume its  fox since we can only see its rear view. But what else beside a fox would have such a bushy tale?

For the first time this year we have cut the lawn. Until now it's been far too wet. The posters arrived today for Open Gardens on Sunday May 19th so we have just  month to get the place in order.
