Pretty

Still in Hull. A trip out today with my girls and my parents to The Deep. It was really good, we were there for ages and my companions all enjoyed it, young and old alike.

Then whilst they all came home I stayed out to take pictures in the Old Town and around the city centre, before walking the three miles home along Anlaby Road to my parents. The city centre was pretty bad in places, so many boarded-up shops and businesses and general dilapidation. Anlaby Road was worse. That building in the photo is only a few hundred metres from town and there are loads of similar all around. Not pretty. Not good. At all.

I think we need some uplifting music, summat with brass.
