Jim

Today we said goodbye to our dear Pudsey Rambler friend Jim.
He died just 6 days short of his 97th birthday.
At his request they played a recording of Dylan Thomas reading the poem ‘ Lament’ , and the final music was Louis Armstrong singing What a Wonderful Life.

Although he hadn’t walked with us for about 8 years he still came to all the social events.
First extra is him with Betty who’s funeral it was just two weeks ago.
The second extra is his 95th Birthday back in 2022.
The main photo was taken before we joined the Pudseys when they used to go on holidays to the Dolomites and the Alps.

Jim was a great character who will be missed by us all.
