The violin maker's apprentice...

...at  The Old Violin Workshop, Liverpool. This fascinating workshop is in the courtyard of the Blue Coat Art Centre and Mr Phoenix is usually agreeable to a photo or two. I've photographed him before, so I asked to photograph his young apprentice today. 
The studio is full of stringed instruments being made or restored.
