An old favourite

This chair was one of 6 in a kitchen setting we acquired about 40 years ago. The table remains in daily use but this is the only surviving chair.
It appeared yesterday in isbi’s blip causing AMK49 to question its safety - it’s perfectly safe as long as you don’t lean back, make any sudden movements or weigh over 50kgs. It’s undergone numerous repairs over the years with screws, glue and extra bracing but it suffered the obvious structural failure a couple of years ago so has been retired to light duties, such as holding the paint tin.
