The road’s open again!!

Megalong Rd fell into the abyss 2 weeks ago during a storm and nobody has been able to get in or out since, except for one Peach Tree Rd resident who escaped across the swollen Cox’s River and has since been spotted down the coast in some fashionable craft breweries and cruising in his luxury speedboat.
The main blip is at the top of the wash away while the first extra shows us following the escort vehicle down the single lane temporary repair. The permanent repair will take 12 months minimum.
The second extra is of the causeway on Nellies Glen Rd into our farm showing what can come down the creek in a flood. Had the tree become lodged on the far bank without obstructing the road, it would have been my problem but where it is now means it’s council’s problem (in other words, it’s still my problem)!!
