Corrieshalloch Gorge

National Trust for Scotland. It wasn’t busy. New visitors centre. Lots of refurbished paths, suspension bridge has had a makeover and improved viewing platform. And the gorge…. lovely as aye.

Dreich late afternoon. We’d a walk along Shore Street; new walkways and leisure pontoons in Ullapool harbour recently completed. An ambitious scheme by Highland Council and Transport Scotland. This area can be busy - competing priorities; tourists, fishing sector and traffic for the Outer Isles ferry terminal (also revamped).
